The Current of Kimberly is a future residential waterfront development. The first building being constructed will be the four-story Oasis building, with construction scheduled to start in the fall of 2018. The Oasis will feature balconies that overhang the Fox River, ranging in size from 20 feet to 30 feet wide.
The Current of Kimberly consists of the highest-end finishes and finest amenities you will find in any luxury apartment community.
The true selling feature though, lies outside of your full-view glass patio doors. Each luxury apartment is constructed with a massive balcony that overlooks all of the beauty that the Fox River has to offer.
Balconies are eight feet deep, and range from twenty to thirty feet in width! A viewing experience truly exclusive to residents at The Current of the Fox – Kimberly.
This past week our crew was busy making some serious headway on your future home! Check out the progress photo below.
Before you know it, you will be relaxing on your private waterfront balcony, watching the birds fly by.
It was a chilly, yet productive November on-site, as multiple projects at the Current of the Fox continue to be well under way! The iconic Oasis building located in the heart of the development has begun to wrap up much of the concrete and foundation work.
The Oasis build is unlike any other site in the Fox Valley. It will offer breathtaking views with private balconies directly overhanging the Fox River!
To the west of the Oasis building, the ground along the Fox River has been leveled out, and the area in which our second and third buildings will be constructed is starting to take shape. Stay tuned for updates as Ebb & Flow continue to see progress!
KIMBERLY, Wis. (WBAY-TV) Back in March, Action Two News shared that Kimberly was confident redevelopment would begin sometime this year on the former NewPage Mill site.
Parts of the former NewPage Mill site are busy with construction workers building roads, a sewer system, and a framework for high end town homes, apartments, and restaurants.
Two developers have already come on board.
Midwest Expansion Company plans to build apartments and a restaurant on the riverfront.
Integrity is building a custom town home complex called Papermill Estates.
“It’s not something that we really have a lot of in our entire area, as far as the riverfront development and redeveloping in an existing area,” Rich Van Sistine of Integrity Construction said “We’re just very excited to be a part of it.”
Kimberly says it’s a smart investment in an important area.
“I think historically this area has meant a lot to the residents of Kimberly, everybody has a story about the old mill site, has memories of the mill site,” said Block.
